Topophilia:The Innovative Design Strategy and Method of Manchu Window in Modern Chinese Furniture
The article takes modem Chinese furniture with Cantonese Manchu window elements as the research object and takes topophilia as the theoretical entry point to explore the strategy,method,and path of integrating traditional Manchu window elements into the modern Chinese furniture innovation design,hoping to realize the purpose of Lingnan regional culture inheritance and development.The article firstly discusses the origin,development,and characteristics of Manchu windows in detail,summarizing and analyzing the connection between modern Chinese furniture and Manchu window decoration culture,and combined with the theories related to topophilia,it puts forward the normative perspective and design experience concept formation,existential perspective and design perceived value embodiment,situational perspective,and the mode construction method of shaping the design cultural environment.To explore the innovation design strategies and methods of Manchu window decoration culture and modern Chinese furniture that are easy to implement and the actual works of the case to demonstrate its design,in order to provide reference and inspiration for the innovative design research of modern Chinese furniture and to inject new vitality into the new development of traditional art and culture in the Lingnan region.
