This paper analyzes new Chinese-style furniture design by integrating INPD,AHP,QFD,and TRIZ methodologies.Initially,factor analysis is used to identify design opportunity gaps for new Chinese-style furniture.Then,a survey and analytic hierarchy process determine user needs and their relative weights.Quality function deployment tools analyze the contradictions between design requirements and technical features,and TRIZ theory is applied to find optimal solutions to these contradictions.These opportunities are then translated into design concepts within the INPD framework,with feasibility verified through practice.The study proposes a design research process that effectively identifies market opportunities for new Chinese-style furniture,helping designers better understand user needs and create products that meet consumer demand,thereby enhancing innovation and practicality in new Chinese-style furniture design.
