Research on the Application of Yao Ethnic Embroidery Patterns Design Based on Multi-Source Data Fusion
This study aims to explore the application of Yao ethnic embroidery patterns in modem design through innovative design using multi-source data fusion methods.Initially, user aesthetic needs were collected through questionnaires, literature review, and interviews with target users to construct a Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process(FAHP)model. The design elements were then quantified and screened using the Entropy Weight TOPSIS method.Subsequently,a sample database of Yao embroidery patterns was constructed through research and data collection, from which elements were extracted and sketch design proposals were derived based on shape grammar rules. Finally, the optimal design scheme was evaluated and determined using the FAHP method. The findings validate the scientific and rational basis of integrating FAHP and Entropy Weight TOPSIS with shape grammar for the innovative design of Yao embroidery patterns, offering a new approach to their application in modern design while promoting the preservation and inheritance of Yao ethnic embroidery culture.
