Research on Age-appropriate Design of Urban Shared Transportation from the Perspective of Mobility as a Service
This study explores the travel chain model, travel social sharing network, and travel sharing service touchpoints of urban elderly users. It proposes new transportation design methods and service design concepts for"elderly drivers"and"elderly passengers"at the product level. At the system level,a shared travel design proposal is developed based on the travel chain,integrating"products-information-environment-services"for the elderly. This design leverages service touchpoints along the travel chain to bridge gaps between traditional travel services, medical services, and social services, achieving a seamless connection, smooth travel, and an enjoyable"elderly mobility"experience. At the strategic level, new paths, strategies, and methods of service design for government agencies, corporate R&D,and design education are formed.Based on China's national conditions, the study provides theoretical reference and practical support for the development of elderly travel service solutions with Chinese characteristics.
