This study explores the shifts in key actors within the field of interior design since the founding of the People's Republic of China,analyzing the roles and contributions of"Academism,""Market-oriented,"and"Public Participation"groups across different historical periods.Utilizing literature review,case studies,semi-structured interviews,and surveys,it compares the capabilities,working methods,and practical outcomes of these groups,revealing their internal logic and interrelations.The research aims to delineate the roles and contributions of academic research and design practice,clarify the inheritance and innovation of interior design concepts in China,and examine how interior design reflects and guides social demands.From the theoretical foundation laid by"Academism"to the commercial influence of"Market-oriented"practices and the rise of"Public Participation"in the 21st century,ordinary people are increasingly involved in interior design,fostering the industry's diversification in China.
