This study aims to analyze the objective design elements of paper furniture from the perspective of qualia to explore design strategies for paper furniture under the framework of qualia theory.Firstly,through market research and literature collection,the current development status of paper furniture is analyzed,and based on qualia theory,and the qualia elements of paper furniture are extracted.A qualia-based design model is constructed from three levels:"the qualia of the object,""the qualia of the environment,"and"the qualia of the spirit."The Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP)is used to rank qualia elements in paper furniture design.Then,a design solution database is generated by using Artificial Intelligence Generated Content(AIGC),public evaluations are conducted on each solution to obtain the target solution,and the feasibility of this design method is verified through fuzzy comprehensive evaluation.The application of qualia theory in paper furniture design mainly involves analysis of design thinking points from three dimensions:object,behavior,and mind.Based on qualia elements,AIGC is used to efficiently produce a large number of practical results,which are then verified.The study identifies the intervention points of the qualia-based view in each process of paper furniture research and development.The development of paper furniture needs to consider the systematic brand benefits and enhance the refinement degree of products themselves.This design strategy provides new insights for the design and development of paper furniture.
