Objective To investigate the effect of negative air ions combined with cisplatin on the apoptosis of human glioblastoma U251 cells.Methods:The human glioblastoma U251 cells cultured were assigned into four groups.Add conventional culture medium to A; negative air ions simply to B;cisplatin(1mg/ml)0.05ml simply to C;and negative air ions and cisplatin(1mg/ml)0.05ml to D.The morphological examination,the inhibition rate of cell growth,and the state of apoptosis were detected by inverted microscope, MTT method ,TUNEL method and flow cytometry.Results: Compared with control group A,the rates of growth inhibition and apoptosis of group B,C and D were increased all,while the rate of group D increased more obviously.The difference was significant statistically(P＜0.05).Conclusion: Negative air ions combined and cisplatin could not only inhibit the growth of U251 cells respectively,but have the effect of coordinate repression, inducing the apoptosis of U251 glioma cells.
