Objective To investigate the clinical effect of valsartan combined with nifedipine controlled-release tablets on patients with essential hypertension.Methods: 100 patients with essential hypertension admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into two groups according to the blind selection method, namely, the observation group and the control group.There were 50 patients in each group. Nifedipine controlled-release tablets were used alone in the control group, and valsartan combined with nifedipine controlledrelease tablets were used in the observation group, and the treatment effects Changes in blood pressure before and after treatment and adverse reactions.Results: Compared with the control group, the total effective rate of the observation group was significantly higher (P＜0.05).Before treatment, there was no significant difference in systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure between the two groups (P＞0.05); Systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure decreased after treatment.At the same time, compared with each other, the observation group was significantly lower (P＜0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions such as hyperuricemia, dyslipidemia and hypokalemia in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion: The combination of valsartan and nifedipine controlled-release tablets can improve the clinical treatment effect of patients with essential hypertension, help to improve the blood pressure level of patients, and has a high safety.It is recommended to promote the clinical application.
