Objective To study and analyze the effect of continuous nursing intervention on the psychological and quality of life of elderly patients with asthma.Methods: 80 elderly patients with asthma who were treated in our hospital from March 2020 to March 2021 were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, with 40 patients in each group.The experimental group received continuous nursing, while the control group received routine nursing.The changes of quality of life and psychological status of patients in the two groups were compared before discharge, one month after discharge, two months after discharge and three months after discharge.Results: With the increase of time, the patients in the experimental group performed better than those in the control group in three aspects of symptoms, activity restriction and disease impact score, with significant difference (P＜0.05).Three months after discharge, the patients in the experimental group scored better in anxiety and depression than those in the control group.There was a significant difference between the two groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion: Continuous nursing can significantly improve the psychological status and quality of life of elderly patients with asthma, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
