Objective To study the clinical value of applying body language communication in pediatric pneumonia care work.Methods: 240 children with pneumonia who were admitted from July 2021 to July 2022 were selected.Group method: lottery method, namely 120 patients in reference group (routine care) and 120 patients in study group (body language communication), comparing the compliance rate of group 2 children and the praise rate of their families.Results: The compliance rate of the study group (98.33%) was significantly higher than that of the reference group (87.50%), and the comparison difference was obvious (P <0.05).Among the results of the family praise rate, the proportion of the research group data (100.00%) was significantly higher than that of the reference group data (91.67%), and the comparison difference was obvious (P <0.05).The duration of cough relief, lung rales and hospital stay were significantly shorter than the reference group, with P <0.05.Conclusion: Body language communication for children with pneumonia can significantly improve their compliance and nursing effect, speed up the rehabilitation speed, obtain higher recognition from their families, and have a very high clinical application value, and can be widely implemented.
