Objective To study the clinical value of applying body language communication in pediatric pneumonia care work.Methods: 240 children with pneumonia who were admitted from July 2021 to July 2022 were selected.Group method: lottery method, namely 120 patients in reference group (routine care) and 120 patients in study group (body language communication), comparing the compliance rate of group 2 children and the praise rate of their families.Results: The compliance rate of the study group (98.33％) was significantly higher than that of the reference group (87.50％), and the comparison difference was obvious (P ＜0.05).Among the results of the family praise rate, the proportion of the research group data (100.00％) was significantly higher than that of the reference group data (91.67％), and the comparison difference was obvious (P ＜0.05).The duration of cough relief, lung rales and hospital stay were significantly shorter than the reference group, with P ＜0.05.Conclusion: Body language communication for children with pneumonia can significantly improve their compliance and nursing effect, speed up the rehabilitation speed, obtain higher recognition from their families, and have a very high clinical application value, and can be widely implemented.
