Objective To analyze and compare the satisfaction of implant supported fixed dentures, implant supported removable dentures and complete dentures for patients with dentition loss, and the oral health-related quality of life. Methods: From May 2021 to June 2022, a total of 86 patients with dentition loss were selected and divided into three groups according to the treatment methods, namely, implant supported fixed dentures (group A, n=29), implant supported removable dentures (group B, n=27), and complete dentures (group C, n=30), The survey included patients'' satisfaction after treatment and oral health related quality of life before and after treatment.Results: After the corresponding treatment, the oral health related quality of life of patients in Group A, Group B and Group C increased significantly (P＜0.05).There was no significant difference between Group A and Group B in the scores of satisfaction and oral health related quality of life (P＞0.05), but the scores of satisfaction and oral health related quality of life in Group A and Group B were higher than those in Group C, with significant difference (P＜0.05).The scores of psychological disorder, psychological discomfort, physiological pain and functional restriction in group A were higher than those in group C, and the scores of functional restriction in group B were higher than those in group C, with significant difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion: Compared with complete denture treatment, implant supported removable denture treatment for patients with dentition loss can obtain better quality of life, and patients'' satisfaction is higher after treatment.It is recommended to promote clinical application.
