Objective To investigate the clinical application value of traditional two-dimensional ultrasound combined with automatic Strain quantification (Auto Strain RV) in evaluating right ventricular systolic function in patients with primary Sjogren''s syndrome. Methods:Thirty patients with pSS admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University in Liaoning Province were selected as case group and 30 healthy subjects as control group. The ultrasonic-related parameters of the two groups were measured by traditional two-dimensional echocardiography. Automatic strain quantification was used to compare the subclinical changes in function between different strain measurements. Results: Compared with conventional ultrasound, automatic strain quantitative technique can detect subclinical changes of right ventricular function earlier. Conclusion: The long axial strain of right ventricle has a good correlation with conventional ultrasonic parameters, which is of certain significance for detecting the early stress changes of right ventricle in patients.
