Objective To investigate the clinical value of transabdominal ultrasound combined with transvaginal ultrasound in the diagnosis of adenomyosis (AM). Methods: 59 patients with dysmenorrhea due to adenomyosis who were treated in our hospital from February 2020 to April 2022 were selected as the study subjects. Two senior ultrasound physicians analyzed the transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound and abdominal color Doppler ultrasound images in a doubleblind manner to determine the occurrence of adenomyosis. Based on the results of postoperative pathological examination as the gold standard, two kinds of color Doppler ultrasound manifestations of adenomyosis were analyzed, and the efficacy of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound and abdominal color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of early adenomyosis was calculated. The consistency test was used to analyze the consistency of color Doppler ultrasound and gold standard diagnosis results. SPSS 22.0 statistical software was used to analyze the relevant data of this study. Results: The sensitivity, accuracy and negative predictive value of transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound in the diagnosis of early adenomyosis were higher than those of abdominal color Doppler ultrasound (P<0.05). The Kappa value of early adenomyosis diagnosed by transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound was 0.898, higher than that of abdominal color Doppler ultrasound (0.454). The detection rate of the original uterine rectal fossa effusion and adnexal mass in early adenomyosis by transvaginal color Doppler ultrasound was higher than that by abdominal ultrasound (P<0.05). Conclusion: Transabdominal ultrasound combined with transvaginal ultrasound has a good clinical value in the diagnosis of adenomyosis.
