Objective To explore and analyze the influence of continuous midwifery care on the quality of nursing care in delivery room. Methods: A total of 200 parturients who delivered in our delivery room from June 2021 to December 2021 were equally divided according to the grouping method of random number table. One hundred cases in the control group were given routine care in the delivery room and 100 cases in the research group were given continuous midwifery care. The duration of labor and the psychological state changes of the parturients in the two groups were compared. The natural delivery rate, lateral perineal incision rate, and postpartum hemorrhage rate and satisfaction degree of the parturients were observed and counted. Results The duration of the first, second and third labor stages of the parturients in the study group were (562.52±55.58), (51.15±7.95) and (10.15±1.59)min, respectively, which was shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the parturients in the research group scored (40.05±4.03) on SAS and (41.25±4.12) on SDS, both of which were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Besides, the natural delivery rate and satisfaction rate of 91.00% and 98.00% respectively in the research group were higher than those in the control group, while the lateral perineal incision rate and postpartum hemorrhage rate of 28.00% and 3.00% respectively were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Continuous midwifery nursing can obviously improve the quality of nursing care in delivery room, shorten the duration of labor of parturients, alleviate adverse emotions in the heart, improve the rate of natural delivery, and reduce the rate of lateral episiotomy and postpartum hemorrhage, which is worthy of promotion.
