Objective To explore the effects of health education and nursing on the adaptability and self-care ability of acute infantil enteritis. Methods: A total of 80 children with acute infantile enteritis admitted to our hospital from September 2020 to September 2021 were selected as subjects of this study. They were randomly divided into observation group and control group with n=40. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was given health education on the basis of it. The clinical indicators, adaptability to hospitalization and self-care ability of the two groups were compared. Results: The duration of fever reduction, diarrhea disappearance, antiemesis and hospitalization in observation group was lower than that in control group (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in hospital adaptability between the observation group and the control group before nursing (P>0.05). After 3d, 5d and 7d, the score of observation group and control group was higher than that before nursing, and observation group was higher than control group (P<0.05). The scores of life, disease knowledge, medication, diet and behavior in observation group were higher than those in control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Health education and nursing can accelerate the adaptability and self-care ability of acute infantil enteritis, the overall effect is ideal, worthy of popularization and application.
