Abstract

Objective To observe the endocrine and metabolic characteristics of infertility patients with PCOS under different levels of TSH and BMI. MethodsA total of 123 infertility patients with PCOS who planned assisted reproductive pregnancy were collected. According to the TSH cut-off point of 2.5 mU/L and BMI value of 24 kg/m2 was divided into TSH<2.5 mU/L+normal weight group (group A), TSH<2.5mU/L+ overweight and obese group (group B), TSH≥2.5 mU/ L+normal weight group (group C) and TSH≥2.5mU/L+overweight and obese group (group D).The differences of clinical data and endocrine metabolism indexes between groups were compared. Results ① TSH and BMI were significantly positively correlated with HOMA-IR(r=0.270, 0.312, P<0.05),elevated TSH levels were mainly associated with IFG,increased BMI was mainly associated withIGTand increased TC, LDL-C. ② IR was also present in PCOS infertile patients with TSH<2.5 mU/ L and normal body weight.ConclusionPCOS infertility patients with normal thyroid function and weight also have IR,OGTT, insulin release test, and lipid profile should be routine screening for all PCOS patients when planningpregnancy.
