Objective To explore and analyze the improvement effect of cognitive behavior nursing on renal function and compliance of hemodialysis patients with chronic renal failure. Methods: A total of 120 patients with chronic renal failure who received hemodialysis treatment in our hospital from February 2021 to October 2021 were equally divided according to the grouping method of random number table. Sixty cases in the control group were given routine care, and 60 cases in the research group were given cognitive behavior care. The changes of renal function indexes, compliance and quality of life before and after care were compared between the two groups. Results After nursing, the levels of Scr and BUN in patients of study group were (234.14±30.16)mmol/L/L and (7.36±0.83) μ mol/L respectively, which were lower than those of control group (P<0.05). In addition, the compliance of patients in the study group on hemodialysis treatment was 95.00%, which was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of physical function, physiological function, mental health, emotional function and social function in the study group were (81.14±8.42), (82.53±8.47), (80.47±8.09), (81.43±8.11) and (83.07±8.44), respectively, which were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: Cognitivebehavioral nursing care for patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis can significantly enhance patients'' compliance with dialysis treatment and improve their renal function, which in turn is conducive to the improvement of quality of life and is worthy of promotion.
