Objective To explore and analyze the effect of comfort care in chemotherapy care of patients with malignant tumor. Methods: A total of 200 patients with malignant tumor who received chemotherapy in our hospital from March 2021 to May 2021 were equally divided according to the grouping method of random number table. One hundred cases in the control group were given conventional care and 100 cases in the research group were given comfort care. The pain and psychological emotions before and after care were assessed using visual analogue scale (VAS), anxiety and depression (SAS) and SDS self-rating scales, respectively. The comfort and satisfaction were also assessed using the self-made comfort and satisfaction questionnaire. Results After nursing, VAS, SAS and SDS scores of patients in research group were (3.14±0.87), (38.25±3.76) and (39.45±3.88) respectively, which were lower than those of patients in control group (P<0.05). The patients in the research group scored (91.66±1.36), (94.47±1.23) and (96.26±1.15) respectively on the operating comfort, language comfort and ward environment comfort after care, which were higher than those in the control group after care (P<0.05). Moreover, the satisfaction degree of nursing care in the research group was 98.00%, which was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The application of comfort care in chemotherapy care of patients with malignant tumor can significantly alleviate the body pain, improve psychological bad mood, and enhance the comfort of patients during chemotherapy, which is conducive to the enhancement of patient care satisfaction and is worthy of promotion.
