Abstract
Objective To explore the influence of prenatal and postpartum care on the time of breast milk secretion and the rate of breast feeding in primipara.Methods: 92 primipara admitted to our hospital from October 2019 to November 2020 were selected as the subjects of this study.They were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with n=46.The control group was given routine care, while the observation group was given prenatal and postpartum care on the basis of routine care.The breast milk secretion, neonatal feeding and quality of life of the two groups were compared.Results: The proportion of the parturients who secreted breast milk within 24 hours, 24 hours to 48 hours, 48 hours to 72 hours, and more than 72 hours in the observation group was 65.23％, 17.39％, 8.7％, 4.35％, while that in the control group was 17.39％, 39.13％, 26.09％, 17.39％; The breast milk secretion of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P＜0.05).The proportions of breast-feeding, artificial feeding and mixed feeding in the observation group were 86.96％, 4.35％ and 8.7％ respectively, while those in the control group were 52.17％, 21.74％ and 26.09％ respectively. The breast-feeding rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P＜0.05).After nursing, the scores of social and physiological function, emotion and physiological function, mental and general health, physical pain and vitality in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P＜0.05).Conclusion: Prenatal and post natal care can promote the secretion of breast milk and feeding rate of primipara, and improve the quality of life after delivery, which is worth popularizing.
