Objective To evaluate the role and characteristics of cardiac ultrasound in hypertension with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation. Methods: Thirty patients with hypertension with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation treated in our hospital from September 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the experimental group, and 30 patients with hypertension during the same period were selected as the routine group. Biochemical index test and cardiac ultrasound examination were performed in both groups, and the differences of biochemical indexes and cardiac ultrasound indexes between the two groups were compared. Results: There were no significant differences in biochemical indexes between the two groups (P>0.05). The Lad in the experimental group was higher than that in the conventional group (P<0.05). There were no significant differences in Rad, LVIDd and LVEF between the two groups (P>0.05). IVSd and E/A in experimental group were higher than those in conventional group (P<0.05). Conclusions: For the patients with hypertension accompanied by paroxysmal atrial fibrillation, active cardiac ultrasound diagnosis can show the enlargement of the left atrium, increased thickness of the left ventricular septum, and obvious mitral regregitation, indicating that hypertension can cause abnormal cardiac structure, which is worthy of further clinical application and promotion.
