Abstract
Objective To explore the impact of targeted nursing intervention on the quality of life of patients with liver cancer after interventional therapy. Methods: A total of 88 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma treated in our hospital during January 2019 to May 2022 were selected as the research objects. In nursing study, random number table method was used to divide the average number of interventional patients in each group. In the reference group, 44 patients were treated with conventional surgical nursing intervention. The study group (44 cases) used targeted nursing methods to complete surgical nursing intervention; Self-care score (selfcare responsibility, self-concept, health knowledge level, and self-care skills), quality of life (functional area, overall quality of life, single symptom factor, symptom area), and total incidence of complications (nausea and vomiting, fever, hematoma, and bleeding) were compared between the two groups. Results:After nursing, the scores of self-care responsibility, self-concept, health knowledge level and self-care skills of patients undergoing liver cancer interventional therapy in the study group were significantly improved compared with those in the reference group (P<0.05). The scores of functional area, overall quality of life, single symptom factor and symptom area of patients undergoing liver cancer interventional therapy in the study group were significantly improved compared with the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of complications (nausea, vomiting, fever, hematoma and hemorrhage) in the study group was significantly lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion:The effective application of targeted nursing can significantly improve the self-care ability and quality of life of patients undergoing interventional therapy for liver cancer.
