Objective To explore and analyze the senile vaginitis patients using tinidazole suppository, estrogen ointment combined treatment effect. Methods: A total of 100 cases of senile vaginitis from January 2020 to June 2021 in our hospital were randomly divided into control group (treated with tinidazole suppository, n=50 cases) and research group (treated with tinidazole suppository and estrogen ointment in combination, n=50 cases). The therapeutic effects, symptom improvement and sex hormone changes in the two groups were compared. Results: The total effective rate of treatment in study group was 97.50%, which was higher than that in control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the symptom scores of vaginal pruritus, vaginal discharge, pyrexia and mucosal congestion and edema in the research group were (1.07±0.25), (1.10±0.28), (1.02±0.29) and (1.08±0.22), respectively, lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Moreover, after treatment, the FSH level of the research group (150.47±13.36) U/L) was higher than that of the control group, while the E2 level (35.71±3.38)nmol/L/L was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The combined treatment of tinidazole suppository and estrogen ointment in senile vaginitis has reliable effect, can effectively improve clinical symptoms of patients and regulate sex hormone levels, and is worthy of promotion.
