Objective To apply the continuous quality improvement model to nursing quality management in the infection department and analyze its application effect. Methods Twenty nurses from June 2021 to June 2022 in the infectious disease department were selected. The time points were divided into pre management (June December 2021) and post management (January June 2022). Routine nursing quality management mode was adopted before management and continuous quality improvement mode was implemented after management. Statistics, comparison and management of relevant data. Results After management, the nurses in the infection department scored higher in all aspects of work quality, lower in all aspects of nurses'' job burnout, higher in nurses'' management satisfaction, and lower in the incidence of nurse patient disputes (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of continuous quality improvement model in the nursing quality management of the infection department has a significant effect, avoid the occurrence of nurse patient disputes, and is conducive to the harmony and stability of the nurse patient relationship.
