Objective To explore the value of the whole process health education model in diabetes nursing intervention. Methods: 42 patients with diabetes admitted to our hospital from September 2021 to September 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. They were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with n=21. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given full course health education. The blood glucose level,self-management effect (Deborah score) and quality of life (QOL) were compared between the two groups. Results: The indexes of PG,FPG and HbAlc in the observation group and the control group at 2h were lower than those before nursing care, and lower in the observation group (P<0.05). The Deborah scores of blood glucose monitoring and diet were higher in the observation group (P<0.05). The scores of 8 items in QOL,such as social and physiological functions, were higher in the observation group (P<0.05). Conclusion: The whole process health education can reduce the blood sugar fluctuation of diabetes patients and improve the level of self-management,which is worth popularizing.
