Objective To study the effect of health education on the mental state of elderly hypertensive patients. Methods: A total of 91 elderly hypertensive patients were included. The time is from 2021.08 to 2022.07. Random number table method grouping. The reference group of 45 cases received routine care. 46 cases in the experimental group,health education mode. Blood pressure control,psychological state,blood pressure drop,compliance,cognition,health behavior,etc. were measured in each group. Results: After nursing,the above indexes in the experimental group were all better,P＜0.05. Conclusion: The application of health education in hypertensive patients has a significant effect on improving blood pressure control,which is helpful to improve patients'' cognition,improve their health behaviors,and relieve their psychological state.
