Objective To analyze the effect of multi sensory stimulation training on the prognosis of elderly patients with schizophrenia. Methods: 62 elderly patients with schizophrenia in our hospital from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into control group and study group. The control group received routine rehabilitation training, and the study group received multi sensory stimulation training. The self-efficacy score and treatment attitude score of the patients before and 3 months after the intervention were used as indicators to clarify the value of multi sensory stimulation training. Results: before the intervention, there was no significant difference in self-efficacy score and treatment attitude score between the study group and the control group. After the intervention, the self-efficacy score of the study group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the treatment attitude score was significantly better than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). Conclusion: the application of multi sensory stimulation training in the rehabilitation training of elderly patients with schizophrenia can significantly improve the self-efficacy and treatment attitude of patients, and its training effect is better than that of conventional rehabilitation training, which should be promoted in clinical practice.
