Objective To compare the effect of dynamic hip screw (DHS) and anti rotation proximal femoral nail (PFNA) on the curative effect and stress index of elderly patients with intertrochanteric fracture. Methods: A total of 90 patients with intertrochanteric fracture aged over 60 years who were admitted to our hospital from February 2019 to January 2022 were selected. 45 patients treated with DHS were in group A, and 45 patients treated with PNFA were in group B. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, recovery time of fracture after operation and changes of stress indexes before and after operation were compared between the two groups. Results: The operation time, blood loss and recovery time of patients in group A treated with DHS were higher than those in group B treated with PFNA (P<0.05). The results of stress indicators showed that the levels of NE and Ang Ⅱ in group A were higher than those in group B, while the levels of SOD in group A were lower than those in group B (P<0.05). Conclusion: PFNA treatment of femoral trochanteric fracture causes less surgical trauma than DHS treatment, and has a faster recovery time after operation, and can effectively alleviate the development of stress response.
