Objective To explore the analysis of the elderly patients with chronic renal failure in the application of holistic nursing care, and its treatment compliance. Methods: A total of 100 elderly patients with chronic renal failure admitted to our hospital from May 2021 to May 2022 were equally divided according to the grouping method of random number table, 50 cases in the control group were given routine care, and 50 cases in the research group were given full-course care. The treatment compliance, psychological state changes and quality of life of the elderly patients were analyzed and compared. Results The treatment compliance rate of study group was 96.00％, which was higher than that of control group (P＜0.05). After care, the SAS and SDS scores of the aged patients in the research group were (40.42±4.07) and (39.53±3.94) respectively, which were lower than the scores of the control group after care (P＜0.05). Moreover, the scores of appetite, spirit, sleep and daily living of the research group were (6.36±1.37), (6.83±1.52), (7.26±1.85) and (6.87±1.74) respectively, which were higher than those of the control group. The scores of pain and fatigue were (3.65±0.85) and (4.64±1.01) respectively, which were lower than those of the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion: In the elderly patients with chronic renal failure in the application of holistic nursing care, can significantly improve the psychological state of patients, improve their treatment compliance, and promote the quality of life, it is worthy of promotion.
