Objective To explore the therapeutic effect and evaluation method of Vitalstim electric stimulation swallowing function training on dysphagia after stroke. Methods: 104 patients with dysphagia after stroke hospitalized in the Department of Neurology of Dong''e County People''s Hospital from October 2013 to May 2014 were collected. They were randomly divided into treatment group and control group, with 52 cases in each group. The control group received swallowing function training. The treatment group was treated with Vitalstim electric stimulation swallowing function training, and the clinical effects were compared. Results: The effective rate of the treatment group (98.10％) was higher than that of the control group (82.69％). Watian drinking water test was better than that of the control group, and the improvement of dysfunction was better than that of the control group (P＜0.05). Conclusion: Vitalstim electric stimulation swallowing function training comprehensive treatment for dysphagia after stroke to obtain better rehabilitation treatment effect.
