Objective To study the effect of psychological nursing intervention on the clinical rehabilitation of elderly patients with sequelae of cerebral infarction. Methods: 116 elderly patients with sequela of cerebral infarction admitted in our hospital from October 2020 to October 2022 were selected as the subjects of this study. According to the grouping method of envelope method, the patients were divided into reference group and intervention group, with 58 patients in each group. The patients in the reference group were given routine nursing care. The patients in the intervention group were given psychological nursing services on the basis of the reference group. The neurological function, cognitive function, activities of daily living, satisfaction The emotional state was compared. Results: The scores of neurological function, cognitive function and activities of daily living in the intervention group were significantly better than those in the control group after nursing, P<0.05; The nursing satisfaction of the patients in the intervention group was 98.28%, which was significantly higher than that of the patients in the reference group (74.14%, P<0.05); The scores of anxiety and depression in the intervention group were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: For the elderly patients with cerebral infarction, psychological nursing intervention can improve their cognitive function and neural function, enhance patients'' satisfaction with nursing, and regulate their psychological state of anxiety and depression. The effect is obvious, and it is worth promoting.
