Objective To explore the value of colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions. Methods: A total of 600 patients who underwent colposcopy in our hospital from June 2021 to June 2022 were selected. With the pathological diagnosis results as the gold standard, the coincidence rate of colposcopy and pathological diagnosis results was analyzed, as well as the sensitivity and specificity of colposcopy in the diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions (cervicitis, CIN, cervical condyloma acuminatum, cervical cancer and cervical polyp). Results: The pathological diagnosis showed 421 cases of cervicitis, 107 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), 17 cases of cervical cancer, 29 cases of cervical polyps and 26 cases of cervical condyloma acuminatum. The results of colposcopy showed 414 cases of cervicitis, 103 cases of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), 17 cases of cervical cancer, 29 cases of cervical polyps and 24 cases of cervical condyloma acuminatum. The diagnostic accuracy of colposcopy for cervical precancerous lesions was 97.83%(587/600). The sensitivity and specificity of colposcopy to cervicitis were 98.34% and 96.09%, respectively, and to CIN were 96.26% and 98.51%, respectively. The sensitivity and specificity to condyloma acuminatum were 92.31% and 99.65%, respectively. The diagnostic accuracy rates of cervical cancer and cervical polyps were 100.00%. Conclusion: Colposcopy has significant value in the clinical diagnosis of cervical precancerous lesions. Besides, it has high sensitivity and specificity for cervicitis, CIN, condyloma acuminatum, etc. It can provide an important basis for the early diagnosis of diseases and is worthy of promotion.
