Objective To explore the effect of individualized nursing in the prevention and control of hand foot mouth disease (HFMD) infection in children.Methods: 68 children with hand, foot and mouth disease admitted in our hospital from February 2021 to February 2022 were taken as the research object.They were randomly divided into the observation group (34 cases) and the control group (34 cases) by using the random number table. Individualized nursing and routine nursing were applied respectively to compare the treatment compliance, treatment effect, time for rash to subside, time for fever to subside, length of hospital stay, incidence of complications, and satisfaction of parents'' nursing.Results: The treatment compliance score of children in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the total effective rate of treatment (97.06%) was also higher than that in the control group (79.41%), the time of rash regression, the time of fever regression, and the hospital stay were shorter than those in the control group, the complication rate (2.94%) was lower than that in the control group (23.53%), and the satisfaction of parents with care (94.12%) was higher than that in the control group (76.47%), P<0.05.Conclusion: The application of individualized nursing mode in the prevention and control of hand, foot and mouth disease infection in children is helpful to enhance the treatment compliance of children and improve their condition.The application of this nursing mode has been recognized by many parents of children, and is worth popularizing in clinical practice.
