Objective To study and analyze the practical effect of risk management in the use of general surgery.Methods: 100 patients of general surgery in our hospital from January 2022 to November 2022 were selected and divided into 50 patients in the experimental group and 50 patients in the control group according to the method of random number table.The patients in the experimental group were subject to risk management, while the patients in the control group were subject to routine management.The nursing quality, nursing errors, and patients'' satisfaction with nursing were compared between the two groups.Results: The nursing quality score of the patients in the experimental group was significantly better than that of the control group, and the difference was significant P; The occurrence of nursing errors in the experimental group was less than that in the control group, with a significant difference (P＜0.05); The satisfaction of the patients in the experimental group was better than that in the control group, with a significant difference (P＜0.05).Conclusion: Risk management has a good effect on nursing management of general surgery department, improving nursing quality and satisfaction.
