Objective To study and analyze the effect of health education on elderly patients in the prevention and control of chronic diseases in the community and the role of disease prevention.Methods: 100 elderly patients with chronic diseases admitted to our center from May 2020 to May 2021 were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group.Routine education was used for the control group and health education was used for the observation group.The disease cognition, health behavior and treatment compliance rate of the two groups were compared.Results: After intervention, the cognitive level of chronic diseases in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (P.Conclusion: The implementation of health education for elderly patients with chronic diseases in the community can enhance their awareness of the disease, guide their subjective willingness to comply with the doctor, and control the disease development process of patients.Conclusion: The implementation of health education for elderly patients with chronic diseases in the community can enhance their awareness of the disease, guide their subjective willingness to comply with the doctor, and control the disease development process of patients.
