Objective To compare the effect of minimally invasive thoracoscopic surgery and traditional thoracotomy in the treatment of nonsmall cell lung cancer. Methods: 40 patients with non-small cell lung cancer admitted to our hospital from August 2019 to August 2022 were selected as the study subjects. They were randomly divided into 20 patients in each group. The control group was treated with traditional thoracotomy, and the observation group was treated with minimally invasive thoracic surgery. The perioperative performance, postoperative complications and quality of life of the patients in the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results: The perioperative performance of the observation group was better than that of the control group (P; The incidence of postoperative complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P; The scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Thoracoscopic minimally invasive surgery in the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer patients can effectively reduce the injury caused by surgery, reduce the occurrence of postoperative complications, improve the quality of life of patients, and is superior to traditional thoracotomy in long-term efficacy, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
