Abstract
Objective To analyze the effect of nursing intervention in the operating room to prevent gastrointestinal incision infection. Methods From February 2021 to March 2022, 50 patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery in our hospital were divided into two groups according to the random number table method. The control group received routine nursing, while the observation group received intensive nursing in the operating room, and the effect of intervention was compared. Results There was no wound infection in the observation group, which was less than 16.00% in the control group. The other complications were anastomotic leakage and wound bleeding. The total incidence rate in the observation group was 4.00% lower than that in the control group (24.00%), and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The average application time of antibiotics, intestinal recovery time, incision healing time and hospitalization time of the patients in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The first-grade wound healing rate of patients in the observation group was 96.00%, higher than that of patients in the control group (72.00%, P<0.05).The overall health score of the quality of life of the patients in the observation group was (84.25 ± 3.26) points, higher than that of the patients in the control group (75.26 ± 2.35) points, and the scores of other indicators were higher in the observation group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).According to the satisfaction evaluation, 96.00% of the total nursing satisfaction of patients in the observation group was higher than 80.00% in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Strengthening the nursing in the operating room is beneficial to prevent the infection of gastrointestinal surgical incision, shorten the recovery time of patients after operation and promote the healing of incision.
