Objective To explore the formative factors of high-risk carotid plaque in patients with acute cerebral infarction based on computed tomography angiography (CTA).Methods: A retrospective study was conducted to select 156 patients with acute cerebral infarction who were admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Jinzhou Medical University from January 2021 to January 2022 for neck CTA examination. They were divided into highrisk carotid plaque group and stable carotid plaque group according to whether there was high-risk carotid plaque.Clinical data was collected.Single factor and multi factor logistic regression were used to analyze the formative factors of carotid high-risk plaque in patients with acute cerebral infarction. Results: Among 156 patients with acute cerebral infarction, 61 patients with high-risk carotid plaque and 95 patients with stable carotid plaque. The results of single factor and multi factor logistic regression models showed that hyperuricemia, diabetes, high level of homocysteine, smoking history, and previous history of myocardial infarction were risk factors for carotid plaque formation in patients with acute cerebral infarction (P<0.05).Conclusion: Hyperuricemia, diabetes, high level of homocysteine, smoking history and previous myocardial infarction history are the formation factors of carotid highrisk plaque in patients with acute cerebral infarction.
