Objective To evaluate the value of ultrasonography in differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.Methods To study the diagnostic value of different ultrasound examinations in thyroid nodules.Results Two dimensional ultrasound, Doppler ultrasound and new ultrasound technologies can all play a significant role in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules.However, from the perspective of clinical application effect, two-dimensional ultrasound has the lowest efficiency, Doppler ultrasound is the second, and new ultrasound technology is the best. Conclusion Ultrasonography can play a significant role in the differential diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, but it should be applied in clinical practice in combination with the actual situation of the hospital.Ultrasound with better technical performance should be used as far as possible to improve the diagnostic value.
