Objective To study the effect of medical collagen sponge on postoperative recovery and osteogenesis of patients with small jaw cysts after surgery.Methods: This study was conducted from March 2019 to February 2022.84 patients with jaw cyst confirmed by examination were enrolled in the study and divided into two groups by digital double blind method; All patients received surgical treatment.The control group was closely sutured after surgery, and the study group was treated with medical collagen sponge after surgery; The pain and osteogenesis were compared between the two groups.Results: After treatment, the levels of serum inflammatory factors in the study group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).The evaluation of pain after treatment showed that the indexes in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).At 2 and 3 months after treatment, the PTG gray value of patients in the study group was higher than that in the control group (P<0.05).Serious complications occurred in both groups (P<0.05).Conclusion: Medical collagen sponge has a significant effect in promoting the osteogenesis of small jaw cysts after operation, and can effectively reduce the inflammatory reaction and pain after operation, with high safety.
