Objective To observe the influence of post abortion care (PAC) on nursing satisfaction and mental health of patients with accidental pregnancy and induced abortion.Methods: From December 2020 to December 2021, 68 patients with accidental pregnancy undergoing induced abortion in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups, 34 in each group.Among them, 34 patients in the control group received routine nursing intervention, while 34 patients in the observation group received post abortion care based on routine nursing in the control group.Results: The nursing satisfaction of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, 94.11％ in the observation group and 85.29％ in the control group (P<0.05).The scores of anxiety and depression in the observation group after treatment were (33.33 ± 3.42) and (32.33 ± 4.32) respectively, which were significantly better than those in the control group (P<0.05).The rate of mastering contraceptive knowledge was also significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion: Nursing care after abortion plays an important role in the treatment of patients with induced abortion, which can reduce the anxiety and depression of patients, improve the satisfaction of patients with nursing care, and improve the quality of life of patients.
