Objective To analyze the clinical value of targeted nursing in central venous catheter drainage of lung cancer pleural effusion. Methods: 80 patients with lung cancer pleural effusion who were treated by central venous catheter drainage in the hospital from July 2021 to July 2022 were studied. They were divided into two groups according to the random number table, the control group and the observation group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group received routine nursing. The observation group received targeted nursing, and the drainage effect and complications of the two groups were compared. Results: The success rate of once intubation in the observation group was 95.00%, higher than that in the control group (77.50%), with a difference (P<0.05); The disappearance time of effusion (9.5 ± 1.4) days and drainage time (11.4 ± 2.8) days in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (12.6 ± 2.6) days and (14.5 ± 2.4) days, but the drainage volume in the observation group (956.1± 17.7) mL/d was larger than that in the control group (517.7 ± 22.7) mL/d, P<0.05; In addition, the incidence of complications in the observation group was 2.50%, which was significantly lower than that in the control group (15.00%, P<0.05).Conclusion: In the treatment of lung cancer patients with pleural effusion by central venous catheter drainage, targeted nursing intervention is beneficial to improve the success rate of drainage, and will not cause too many complications, so the safety can be guaranteed.
