Objective To study and analyze the application value of PDCA cycle management in the prevention and control of hospital infection. METHODS: A total of 40 cases of medical staff and 100 cases of inpatients working in this hospital from June 2021 to May 2022 were selected for the study, and PDCA cycle management was carried out to compare the effect of hospital infection prevention and control before and after management. RESULTS: Compared with the pre-management period, the infection-related knowledge awareness rate, hand hygiene compliance rate and infection rate indexes of medical staff were significantly better after the management.The difference between the groups after management was significant (P＜0.05). CONCLUSION: The application of PDCA cycle management in hospital infection prevention and control can standardize medical behavior and implement the core medical care system.Prevent the occurrence of hospital infection and inpatient infection, and improve medical quality and medical safety.
