Objective To explore the effect of nurse patient communication on elderly patients with diabetes.Methods: 86 elderly patients with diabetes received in our hospital from April 2021 to December 2022 were randomly selected as the subjects of this study.The subjects were divided into groups by random number table method.Among them, 43 patients in the reference group were given routine care, 43 patients in the observation group were given nurse patient communication+routine care, and the nursing conditions of both patients were studied and compared.Results: Compared with the reference group, the observation group had higher nursing satisfaction, treatment compliance, quality of life, more stable blood glucose level, and fewer adverse emotions (P＜0.05).Conclusion: The application of nurse patient communication in the nursing process of elderly patients with diabetes can reduce the patients'' bad mood, which has clinical application value.
