Objective To apply touch nursing and rehabilitation nursing in nursing practice, and to explore the nursing effect of these two nursing methods on neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy. Methods By convenient sampling method, 50 neonates with hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy who were admitted to the neonatal department of our hospital from April 2019 to April 2021 were included in this study. Both groups of children were given routine nursing care, while the children in the research group also received touch nursing and rehabilitation nursing.Statistics and comparison of the incidence of neurological sequelae in the two groups of children. The height and weight of the two groups before nursing and one year after discharge were measured and compared. The psychomotor development index and intellectual development index of the two groups of children before nursing and one year after discharge were evaluated and compared. Results The total incidence of neurological sequelae in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and there was a statistical difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The height and weight of the children in the two groups before nursing were less different (P>0.05).The height and weight of the children in the study group were significantly higher than those in the control group one year after discharge (P<0.05).The psychomotor development index and intellectual development index of the two groups of children before nursing had little difference, and the results between the two groups were statistically different (P>0.05).There was a statistically significant difference in the results between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion In the nursing of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy, the combined application of touch and rehabilitation nursing can significantly reduce the occurrence of neurological sequelae, which is conducive to promoting the growth and development of children, and the nursing effect is better.
