Objective Effect of zero-defect operating room care in cardiac surgery patients. Methods: A total of 92 patients who underwent cardiac surgery in our hospital from January 2021 to October 2022 were selected and divided into routine operating room nursing in the control group (n=46) and zero-defect operating room care in the observation group (n=46) according to the order of surgery. The effects of care in both groups were analysed. Results: Compared with the control group, the surgical indexes, postoperative recovery effect and psychological state improvement of the observation group were superior, and the statistical analysis difference was meaningful (P<0.05), the adverse reactions in the observation group were 4.35%, the nursing satisfaction was 100.00%, and the difference between 17.39% and 91.30% in the control group was meaningful (P<0.05). Conclusion: Cardiac surgery patients receiving zero-defect operating room nursing is conducive to reducing the risks and hidden dangers during surgery, and is conducive to the prognosis.
