Objective To explore the effect of posture nursing in the operating room on the prevention of pressure ulcers in long-term surgical patients. Method: 100 patients who underwent surgery at our hospital from January 2022 to December 2022 for more than 2 hours were randomly divided into two groups, with 50 patients in each group. The control group received routine care, while the experimental group received positional care on top of the control group. The incidence of pressure ulcers after surgery and the difference in patient satisfaction between the two groups were compared. Result: The incidence of pressure ulcers in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05); The satisfaction of patients in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (P<0.05). Conclusion: Posture nursing in the operating room has a significant effect on preventing pressure ulcers in long-term surgical patients, and can also improve patient satisfaction, which is worth promoting in clinical practice.
