Objective To explore the clinical effect of predictive preventive measures in reducing the safety hazards of nursing of elderly patients in internal medicine. Methods: A total of 80 elderly patients admitted to the Department of Internal Medicine from January 2021 to December 2022 were randomly divided into observation group (predictive preventive measures) and control group (usual care), 40 people were randomly divided. Results: The observation group had high nursing satisfaction, lower nursing risk events, and more obvious improvements in bad mood, self-management ability and quality of life (P<0.05). Conclusion: The clinical effect of predictive preventive measures in reducing the safety hazards of nursing of elderly patients in internal medicine is very significant.
