Objective To investigate the clinical effects of intensive public health nursing interventions for patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension. METHODS: Sixty patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension who were managed by follow-up in community health service centers from January 2021 to January 2022 were randomly divided into 30 each in the observation group (public health nursing intervention) and the control group (routine care). RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the observation group had higher treatment compliance and more significant improvements in blood glucose level, blood pressure level, psychological resilience, and self-efficacy (P<0.05). CONCLUSION: The clinical effect of intensive public health nursing intervention for patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension is very significant, and a more desirable nursing effect can be obtained.
