Abstract
Objective To study the application value of vaginal microarray technology in the detection of candida in vaginal secretions and its influence on the detection rate of Candida. Methods From May 2020 to September 2021, 183 patients with suspected candidal vaginitis were collected for vaginal secretion wet film microscopic examination, vaginal microbial chip technology and fungal chromogenic culture, and the results were compared. Results According to the "gold standard", Candida albicans accounted for 59.50%, Candida smooth accounted for 20.66%, Candida tropicalis accounted for 12.40%, and Candida krroux accounted for 8.26%; The detection rate of candida types by vaginal microbial chip technology (67.21%) was higher than that by conventional wet film microscopy (56.28%) (P<0.05). The coincidence rate, sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of vaginal microbial chip technology in the diagnosis of candida vaginalis were 95.63%, 97.52%,91.94%, 95.93% and 95.00%, respectively, which were higher than 75.96%, 74.38%, 79.03%, 87.38% and 61.25% of the routine wet film microscopy (P<0.05).Conclusion The detection of candida in vaginal secretions using vaginal microarray technology can effectively determine the type of Candida, and the diagnostic sensitivity, specificity and coincidence rate are high.
