Objective To explore the clinical effect of piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium combined with ambroxol hydrochloride in the treatment of diabetes patients with pneumonia.Methods: 85 patients with diabetes complicated with pneumonia who were treated in our hospital from November 2020 to November 2022 were selected and divided into a control group (n=42) and a study group (n=43) by lot.Piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium were used or combined with ambroxol hydrochloride on this basis to compare the treatment effect, pulmonary function and clinical treatment indicators, quality of life and fasting blood glucose.Results: The treatment effect, lung function index and quality of life of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the fasting blood glucose level was lower, with significant statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion: The combination of piperacillin sodium and sulbactam sodium with ambroxol hydrochloride has a significant effect in the clinical treatment of diabetes patients with pneumonia, improving the quality of life and improving lung function.
